The Wide Range Achievement Test, Expanded Edition
Comment on your experiences with the Wide Range Achievement Test, Expanded Edition (WRAT-E).
I gave the WRAT-E (for second grade) this year. My daughter and I both liked it very well. It tests reading, mathematics and nonverbal reasoning, and it is short. Family Learning Organization rents it (see CaliforniaAchievementTest for more about them), and it is available for grades 2 through 12.
August 2008: After contacting Family Learning Organization, I learned that the WRAT-E is no longer available because the publisher has withdrawn permission for homeschooling families to use it.
