The California Achievement Test
Comment on your experiences with the California Achievement Test (CAT).
The MHA Handbook lists a lot of testing supply companies. Besides the Peabody testers, the only other testing source I would utilize is the Family Learning Organization. They offer the California Achievement Test 5th Edition (CAT5). They have always let me order at any time of the year. Additionally, their prices are low, and to top it off, unlike most other companies, I don’t have to jump through hoops to order the test. Some companies expect you to have a degree, use a school letterhead, or get ‘permission’ from the Superintendent in order to order tests. Not so with FLO. http://www.familylearning.org/
