The Grapevine

MHA’s quarterly newsletter is called The Grapevine. It’s a wonderful tool for all Minnesota homeschoolers. You’ll love the support it provides if you’re just starting out, and you’ll really appreciate the information it contains even after you’ve been homeschooling for years.

Every issue of The Grapevine offers the following:

  • Homeschool News from Minnesota and Beyond
  • Updates from our Teen Group, MHT
  • Support Group Updates
  • Calendar of Homeschooling Events
  • Book Reviews
  • Highlights of MHA Board Meetings
  • Volunteer News and Needs
  • Classified Ads
  • Legislative Watch

Each issue also has longer “feature” articles. We cover the broad spectrum of homeschooling issues and activities that affect our members. For instance, we’ve done an in-depth series on Minnesota’s Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program, with great articles from parents and teens. In other issues, we may profile our Annual Conference speakers, focus on a state or federal legislative concern, or spotlight a new homeschool cooperative or theatrical group.

Every issue of The Grapevine is different, but the goal is to consistently provide relevant information to Minnesota homeschooling families. We’ve posted a complete copy of a recent issue here, so you can read it and judge for yourself. We think you’ll agree that The Grapevine is a tremendous asset to the Minnesota homeschooling community:
