St. Louis Park Public School Dist. (No. 283)

2005: They’re requesting the minimum required by state law. The forms are quite simple. Our dealings with the St. Louis Park district have always been exceptionally pleasant. School officials are accessible, quick to return calls, and helpful when questions come up. Last year they referred a homeschooling family to us that was new to the area. We’re very happy with our school district.
If you are a new homeschooler, and have questions about the laws and how to fill out forms, I recommend that you ask one of the MHA Volunteers instead of someone from the district or from the Dept of Ed.
Oh, and the forms sent out by the districts are provided by the MN Dept of Ed. and always ask for more than what is required by state laws to provide. To read a run down on the Dept of Ed form, check out the wiki Ugly section and then use the MHA form! You can find the MHA form on their website in the Get Started section.
