The MHA Annual Conference is fast approaching. We have a wonderful conference in the works, so mark your calendar now for Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the New Brighton Family Service Center. It’s conveniently located near the junction of I-35W and I-694 (click here for directions) and is also the home of the Eagle’s Nest Indoor Playground, which can be helpful if you wish to plan activities for your children.
Join us for a day of exciting workshops and resources designed to meet the needs of homeschoolers. The all-day Conference offers something for everyone - from “getting started” workshops, panel sessions, exhibitor displays and yes, even more than we can list here!
Our keynote speaker, Alison McKee will grace us with her humor and insight. Allison is the author of Homeschooling Our Children, Unschooling Ourselves and From Homeschool to College and Work: Turning Your Homeschooled Experiences into College and Job Portfolios.

Our complete Conference Brochure and Schedule is currently being prepared and will be available on this page when it is ready. When the Brochure is posted, you’ll be able to print out the Registration Form and reserve your place at MHA’s 2008 Annual Conference. And while you don’t have to be an MHA member to attend, admission is discounted for our members!
Workshop Proposals
We welcome your knowledge and expertise, and urge you to consider sharing them with your fellow homeschoolers. We are accepting conference workshop proposals for the 2008 MHA Annual Conference. If you have a workshop you’d like to offer, please print a copy of our MHA Workshop Proposal Form (PDF), fill it out and mail it to our Workshop Coordinator at the address provided on the form. If you have ideas about workshops, panels or other presentations you would like to see offered at the conference, please let us know by emailing MHA at mha@homeschoolers.org. Thank you!
